-16-

-16- have been around for some time. The first time I had seen them live was at Gilman sometime around 1993/94. They were sandwiched on a bill that had Ruins and a few other bands I have long forgotten. I've always thought they were a great band with their heavy riffs and crunching rhythms. They played at the Relax Bar recently. Most of the set was new material on their new album "Bridges To Burn" (coming in January on Relapse). All the new songs obliterate their old material. Not to say the old stuff was shabby. Far from it. This new stuff is just more sonic and all around heavy. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to picking up the new release. They have a record release show coming up in January at ARt & Mayhem.
